Washington Faith Mission goal is to provide various
types of assistance to the homeless military veterans from communities across
the United States. We provide a safe
emergency transitional housing alternative and services to empower homeless
veterans to become successful and self-sufficient.
Faith Mission is a Washington State not for profit social service agency
serving all communities across the Washington areas.
organization currently provides emergency transitional housing at two of our
locations in Washington and life skill training for
military veterans. It offers assistance to military veterans, who are frequently homeless
with children with nowhere to turn.
Our facilities will offer long-term transitional housing. Most other shelters only offer 30 days or
less of housing whereas Washington Faith Mission offers housing up to two
years, of stable transitional living environment.
The facilities will provide veterans within a seven-step program that teaches
them necessary life skills. This collaborative approach to empowerment is the
key stepping stone to developing self-sufficiency within clients. The
steps in the program include personal development, vocational training,
substance abuse counseling, interpersonal skill building, community
involvement, leisure activities, and independent living skills.
Faith Mission provides emergency care and long-term recovery services to
hurting and homeless veterans in the greater Washington State area. We're
dedicated to serving, rescuing and transforming those in greatest need through
the grace of Jesus Christ.
God is calling us to dream big as the gap widens between human need and public
resources. We're expanding our efforts like never before - beyond Washington
State to the United States.
